Community Events
We support community members directly through a variety of outreach and meal distribution events. Your support of the Reno Gastro Project allows us to purchase meals from local restaurants that are then provided to people facing food insecurity in our community.

liday Dinners for Local Families
December 25, 2021 - Reno Gastro Project connected with 8 families through the Reno/Sparks Mutual Aid Facebook Group. Family dinners were purchased from Casale’s Halfway Club, and meals including their homemade ravioli, lasagna, salad, and garlic bread, fed 41 adults and children on Christmas Day.
Hotel/Motel Event
November 27, 2021 - Reno Gastro Project partnered with Altrusa of Reno/Sparks and served 50 meals from Ijji Noodle House to community members who were also provided a variety of hygiene and daily life necessities.
